Supply Chain Risk Management System (SCRMS)

The VA Supply Chain Risk Management System (SCRMS) tracks medical prostheses and their subcomponents. SCRMS uses an intuitive, geospatially enabled interface to provide users with a visual depiction of the supply chain from manufacture to distributors to consumers. The application significantly enhances the VA’s ability to identify faulty and counterfeit medical components as well as identify consumers in the case of recall.
