Technology & Threat Analysis System (TTAS)

The Technology & Threat Analysis System (TTAS) allows analysts to uncover and better understand how threat groups use the electromagnetic spectrum and associated technologies to deploy improvised explosive devices (IEDs) throughout the world.  TTAS is an advanced analytical system that incorporates features from Onyx’ TechTracker Analytical Support Solution (TASS) and Adjudication Reporting & Metrics System (ARMS) to create a robust multi-role toolset for managers, analysts, and Counter IED (C-IED) community participants.  The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) commissioned TASS to support production of timely and accurate comprehensive reports characterizing electromagnetic environments worldwide for global counter IED (C-IED) operations.  TASS facilitates input from NSA, CIA, NGIC, I2WD, JHUAPL, and JIEDDO test ranges and provides an integrated data environment capable of merging information   from   open  source,  CIDNE,  CEXC,  CEDES,  E-Space  and  other intelligence sources.  Similarly, TTAS can evolve with changes in requirements and merge both classified and unclassified sources within a single data repository.  TTAS likewise supports persistent, up-to-date detailed characterization of the electromagnetic environments in prioritized countries of interest to aid in the planning and development of Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) methods and technologies.  TTAS includes relevant country demographic and infrastructure information; over forty years of filterable IED and terrorist metrics for trend and predictive analysis; enhancements to the user interface for personal preferences and data entry;  geospatial and charting capabilities to graph and map data; and detailed information on threat groups, terrorist organization, and international criminal enterprises.
