Onyx provides mobile application development using open source architecture and the ANDROID operating system. This includes applications designed to support current Web 2.0 systems using advanced user interfaces as well as custom applications for emerging government and customer requirements. Using open source architecture, Onyx can leverage a wide range of tools in the application development community as well as implement mobile device capabilities such as geo-location (GPS) and encrypted communications. This use of community resources with in-house application development experience enables Onyx to provide unique mobile solutions as well as portable interfaces to access larger, web-enable systems.
