Threat Data Visualization

Onyx specializes in the visualization of complex threat information as it relates to terrorist or criminal organizations, national defense, and security activities. Specialized geo-spatial mapping applications, built using ESRI, are combined with other visualization tools including charting, point plotting and overlays. Onyx allows users to examine and understand a database using the full range of spatial and temporal tools in order to identify new trends and previously hidden linkages between disparate data points. New linkages will emerge as additional sources of information are fed into fused analytical database.

Using Web 2.0 technology, Onyx creates communities of interest within each program. This allows like minded individuals and organizations to share information and analysis, which is essential to identifying and defeating complex threats to national security. This also allows privileged users to add and edit information to ensure that all information is timely and relevant to the global situation.
