Mobile IED Exploitation & Reporting (MIXR) Tool

Onyx developed a custom Android-based mobile application known as the Mobile IED Exploitation and Reporting (MIXR) tool to support the Counter-IED mission space for EOD operators worldwide.  MIXR leverages the EOD or Law Enforcement operator’s mobile equipment to generate IED incident reporting fields using voice-to-text reporting, multimedia upload capabilities, and automated geo-location.  MIXR significantly expedites the traditionally manual process of incident reporting and increases the quality and volume of data collected on an IED incident, adding value to intelligence and forensic reporting needs. This information is either securely transmitted to the customer’s chosen database or can be integrated into existing Onyx systems such as TTAS for immediate review by commanders and analysts.
