Log Visualization Tool (LVT)
The Log Visualization Tool (LVT) is a Web 2.0 portal that integrates existing databases to visually display CREW/EW log reports, automate correlation of frequency and technology devices, incorporate historic IED reporting and wireless infrastructure information, and provide in-depth analysis of jammer responses. LVT imports jammer logs and displays them with relevant data and filtering for post-operation and EW forensic analysis. LVT addresses the challenges of extracting and quickly making sense of CREW/EW jamming logs and streamlines an otherwise time-consuming process of manually analyzing log reports by sorting through multiple databases and formats. Additionally, LVT uses geospatial tools to locate the log files in relation to wireless infrastructure and identifies relevant radio controlled devices, thereby eliminating the need for costly licensed programs and time consuming research. This web-based application can be accessed by authorized users CONUS and OCONUS and incorporates both classified and unclassified sources to aid the warfighter in characterizing the electromagnetic environment in any given location to support C-IED operations, route planning, and EW forensic analysis.
